Well, J's Bird failed the "Blower Check", which means the impeller oil seal in the supercharger is shot. And that new overhauled engine we were going to need in about three years: we nee now. So help the Museum by buying a T-shirt to offset the cost of this engine (which is almost what we paid for the airplane thirty years ago).
The season is almost over. The only public place you can see the Museum is the Delta Air Lines Veteran's Day celebration at Atlanta Hartsfield at the end of October (ATL). We'll be in the TOC hangars with a bunch of other birds.
Our latest news is a new pilot. J-man got checked out in J's Bird and has qualified for the FAST 4-ship wingman card. So more opportunity to get to an airshow.
Still settling in the new home and finding things. Even doing a little outside maintenance to increase the revenue stream. We're about ready to expand our venue again.
There were lots of service members who did their job and went home when it was over. The ones that never got overseas, but did vital work instructing, maintaining, keeping things moving. This Museum is dedicated to them.
